The third seminar/field trip in our “concrete 101” series was held on April 20th at a certified concrete testing lab in Largo, Fl. The team leader Terry Taulbee of CMEC handled the presentation with Chris Britt of CEMEX assisting. There were more than a half dozen students from the construction program at pTEC attending. Williams Geotechnical Group provided the location under the guidance of Jim Billera and Luke Noss. Our next and final seminar/field trip in June will be at a ready mix production plant with Chris Britt as team leader.
